Head's Welcome
Welcome to St Stephen’s and our website!
Thank you for taking time to find out about our school. We hope our website serves to share with you the key information you are looking for – and perhaps give you a flavour of what life is like at St Stephen’s. This website will give you lots of information about our school, but you are also very welcome to visit us to look around and ask any questions which are not answered on the website. Looking around in person will allow you to see first hand what our school can provide.
The Governors and staff aim to create a caring Christian community where children can flourish in a stimulating environment. Developing children’s faith and moral purpose is a central part of the school’s mission: children are given opportunities to pray, reflect and worship throughout the school day. They are encouraged to be their best and to help their peers to do the same. We provide a quality education for our children. We have high expectations of everyone. We work hard, play hard and there is fun and purpose in all we do.
Our school is a very happy, safe place to learn. It is a place where children are encouraged to thrive and develop into confident young people, in a school community where learning, both academic and personal, will continue regardless of age, attainment level, race, gender or physical ability. The whole school community is one big team working hard together. Governors, staff, children and parents, work with enthusiasm, pride and love.
We are incredibly proud of our school. We hope you will take time to look through our website.
